Best roles ever! A Chorus Line & West Side Story
I have had the pleasure of working in over 40 decades, however the last one has been a highlight. As an older woman, work opportunities are few and far between; working with a company promoting artists over 50 has allowed me to ‘strut my stuff’ on stage once again.
And then in 2021, I did this….
“I was 32 when I had my first kid. At the time, that was pretty young for a gal in the biz. But what can I say, I wanted a family. So, here i am,
back in the race, in my 60’s, and still kickin’. Literally, i still got a fan kick on both sides... Trouble is, the industry only sees people like me as two things: young and hot or old and not. But it ain’t that black and white. There’s a whole lotta grey. Not on my head of course... Genetics.
And sure, some things aren’t what they used to be so, would it kill ‘em to send sides that aren’t in a microscopic font?! I guess what I’m trying to say is, if art’s supposed to imitate life, shouldn’t it actually do that? Cause baby, this is life!”

First live performance in 4 years!
Back in the Spring of 2023, I reached out to the Toronto Raptor’s basketball team, proposing a senior dance team be created. In January 2024, we did our first half-time performance. We performed for time-outs in February, March and April!! So much fun!!!!
Kind words…..
“your voice and intonation are so good! i love the confidence your voice has!” *chefs kiss*
VO classmate
“You were Brilliant. A great time capsule of a glimpse into your life. Glad I've shared some of that with you. Great vocals, & still one hell of a Fan Kick (both sides).”
Mark C - “Back in the Limelight”
“…excels in the area of comedy…proves to have all the right body & facial movements to keep the audience entertained.”
“Blue Champagne” - Port Dover
“…the powerhouse of the cast…strutter who dazzles the audience with teeth and eyes as she sparkles through the revue’s hottest songs.”
“Way Off Broadway” - Toronto
“…genuine talent, sheer determination, hard work and a loving and supportive family. You are a gifted performer and you always have been. Can't wait to see what you'll do next..”
Audience member - “Back in the Limelight”
“The delivery was clean and very intimate (your tone, where you insert your pauses, that chuckle), like you were speaking from a small stage. I really enjoy listening to your recordings and replayed this many times.”
VO classmate
“…mean-headed talent that commands nothing but respect for her knock ‘em dead performance. Elsewhere Adams is a subdued sophisticate.”
“Sophisticated Ladies” - Toronto
“…sparkles, singing and dancing up a storm in a first class portrayal of Anita…”
“West Side Story” - Muskoka Festival
